Dr. Erwin was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico he obtained a PhD in Biomedical Sciences followed by a Medical Degree, both also from the University of New Mexico. He completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of New Mexico Hospital and then went on to a fellowship in Breast Imaging at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Dr. Erwin specializes in all forms of breast imaging and image-guided breast procedures. His interests include 3-D mammography and minimally invasive treatment of fibro adenomas. When not caring for patients he enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and studying languages.
