Stephen Haltom M.D. attended medical school and residency training at the University of New Mexico. He then completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at UCSD and received the Don Resnick’s Best Clinical Fellow Award for the most outstanding clinical fellow. He also received awards in orthopedic and thoracic radiology research and for his service to medical education.
Dr. Haltom also holds degrees from UCSD in Applied Mechanics and Engineering Science. He’s trained and worked with elite athletes at The Olympic Training Center in Colorado and at Stanford University. He recently competed in the U.S. and World Championships in outrigger canoe racing and enjoys a very active lifestyle.
He is especially interested in working closely with orthopedic surgeons in providing the most up to date care available for their patients.
