Stephen B. Carroll graduated from Brigham Young University located in Provo, Utah with a Bachelors of Science in microbiology. His history of biological research includes work related to chemical agents that stop the spread of tuberculosis and neuropharmacological studies assessing drug agents related to treatments for Parkinson’s disease. Following his medical school studies, he completed Diagnostic Radiology training at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California. His clinical research included assessing patient outcomes utilizing a new technique for placement of a type of hemodialysis catheter. Prior to joining Radiology Associates of Albuquerque, he spent over six years in private practice in Salt Lake City, Utah as a diagnostic neuroradiologist. Dr. Carroll is a Senior Member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. He is certified to practice radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) and has obtained the Board’s Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in neuroradiology.
