Robert D. Rosenberg, M.D.

Dr. Robert Rosenberg graduated from University of California Riverside with a BA in Chemistry and Biology, and received several honors. He received his MD from Washington University, in St. Louis, then two years of Internal Medicine Residency at St. Lukes Hospital in St. Louis, before completing a Radiology Residency at the University of New Mexico HSC. He had been a faculty member at the University of New Mexico for 25 years and was Professor of Radiology prior to joining RAA. During that time, he initially headed Oncology imaging, and the Mammography section. He has extensive research experience in mammography outcomes, founding the New Mexico Mammography Project, a pilot project of the Breast Cancer Surveillance Consortium. He has numerous publications primarily in Radiology, and AJR, but also JNCI, and JAMA. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology, and a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging. He has been a member of the FDA advisory panel for Radiologic Devices for several years, and is its current Chairman. He is married to Jane Wishner, and has two grown children.
