Dr. Chopra was raised in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area, on the Maryland side of the Potomac River. She completed her bachelors of science in diagnostic medical sonography, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Rochester Institute of Technology. Dr. Chopra went on to complete her medical degree back in Baltimore, Maryland, at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, before completing her diagnostic radiology residency at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She enjoyed Vermont so much, she decided to stay an extra year and complete a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the UVM Medical Center as well.
While Dr. Chopra’s procedural training includes a diverse portfolio of procedures, including sclerotherapy of arteriovenous malformations, interventional oncology (including thermal ablation, chemoembolization and radioembolization), uterine artery embolization, and a wide range of hepatobiliary procedures.
