After graduating from Albany Medical College and a 1 year rotating internship in upstate New York, Loren Macey returned to the western US to complete a 4 year Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the University of Colorado Hospital. A combined 14 month fellowship in Breast and Thoracic Imaging, was an appealing combination of 2 areas of interest, gaining more experience by staying on as Assistant Professor for an additional year before moving to Boise, Idaho to work for Boise Radiology Group in 2004. In 2017 Loren decided to take an early retirement to focus on the horse business at the ranch which allowed some time to recharge and rediscover the joy of helping patients with their breast imaging needs. This coincided with the discovery of High Resolution/RAA during locum work assignments, a great place to work with a great team of Breast Imagers.
