Charles R. Hickam, MD

Charles R. Hickam, MD, received his medical degree in 1981 from the University of New Mexico and completed his Radiology Residency at the Wadsworth VA Hospital in Los Angeles, California. Following five years of practice in Bakersfield, California, he completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the University of New Mexico. He is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology, with a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. For ten years Dr. Hickam was the Director of Interventional Radiology at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, Tennessee, where he implemented magnetic resonance angiography. He performs a full spectrum of vascular and non-vascular diagnostic and interventional services.
