Fredrick I. Akiya, MD, is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology with Special Competency in Nuclear Medicine and Neuroradiology. Dr. Akiya specializes in neuroradiology, CT, MRI and nuclear medicine. A graduate of the University of New Mexico, Dr. Akiya completed a fellowship in nuclear medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson and a fellowship in neuroradiology at the University Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
